What does this item do?
Why can't I use Name Change Scroll to change to a previously used name?
What ports do I need to open in my firewall to play the game?
15100 for login servers and 15001 for game servers. No other ports are necessary.
Can I level up to 70, get my personal weapon and delevel to 69
to go to Ronark Land Base?
No. One of the requirements of Ronark Land Base is that the "Danger from Monsters"
quest must not be completed.
What does this item do?
There are some items in the game whose purpose is not clear. Here are some of them:
Relic of a Hero: These are used in quests that have not been released in USKO yet. You can hold on to them until the quests are released, but you will only need a few pieces anyway.
Scale: No known purpose and it takes up an inventory slot as it's not tradeable.
Transformation Gem: This item is sold in the sundries and its purpose is not explained. It has a rare case of use, see below.
Transformation Totem: Acts like a Transformation Scroll but it uses Transformation Gems instead of expensive scrolls. The totem itself has infinite uses.
NOTE: The possession and use of a Transformation Totem is NOT illegal. However, there is a bug abuse possibility related to them. Players who "use an illegal transformation" are cheaters with 100% accuracy, as they use a skill that is not associated with the real Transformation Totem.
Why can't I use Name Change Scroll to change to a previously used name?
Name Change scrolls can't be used to change to a name previously used by another character, even if the character has changed its name since. Originally the purpose of this was to stop a duping method which involved changing the name of a character, sending a letter to it and changing the name of another character to the first's original name. Since letters are disabled, this method would not work even if name change was permitted to past names, although it still does a good job of not letting people hijack popular players' past names.
